Food and architecture may share the same important principle: passion. There’s no such thing as the ‘best’ architecture in the world. And neither is food. I don’t believe in also ‘the best cake in the world’ because it is impossible for such a thing. Any object of creation are bound to the slight possibility of flaw. Perhaps because of such ambition that cost as such. But with that moment of ambition, such persuasive passion would be hidden. I believe that if you notice carefully, you can even ‘taste’ that passion. And that may even supersede the taste of the cake itself. It will overrule the vision and create a strong perception through any materiality of an architecture. You will be consumed by that passion. And live.
Things without love is not always necessarily interesting.
