Everyone loves Chrissie Hynde. But she alone is not The Pretenders.
The sound is so unusual: Rock, clear light but painful. Real Painful. I will never know how they could possibly did that. Blue without 12 rooms scale. And when once they did the reggae beat with UB40, it was so natural. Never again that any band can create this pure originality with such a passion and grunge. It is really a line between love and hate.
